Editorial Policy

This page sets out how Bit Esports produces its coverage.

Accuracy first

Competitive gaming audiences notice errors immediately. We verify roster names, tournament formats, prize pools and patch numbers against official sources — publisher and organiser announcements, verified team and player accounts, and official regulatory statements — and we link those sources where we can.

Guides are dated and re-tested

Settings and strategy guides carry an “updated for [version]” stamp. A guide written for one patch can be wrong two patches later, so we mark when a guide was last tested and revise it on major updates.

Gear reviews are hands-on

We only review hardware we have actually used. Every review states what was tested, for how long, on what device, and whether the unit was purchased or provided. We include what is wrong with a product, not only what is good.

Independence and advertising

We do not accept real-money gaming, betting, casino, colour-prediction, loan-app or “earn money” advertising, and we do not sell guest posts or link placements. Affiliate links, where used, are disclosed above the article body. Sponsored content, where it exists, is clearly labelled.

The line we hold

We cover skill-based competition only. We do not promote, review or link to real-money gaming products of any kind.
